Better Angels is a national citizens' movement to reduce political polarization in the United States.  Instead of asking people to change their minds about issues, we give all Americans a chance to better understand each other and recognize our common humanity.  Too often, we stereotype, dismiss, or ridicule our fellow citizens who hold other views. This workshop focuses on being more aware of our "inner polarizer", learning how to be critical without demonizing or dismissing, and developing strategies for intervening when conversations veer into contempt or ridicule.
