What is a Red/Blue Workshop?
5-8 Republican-leaning citizens (“Reds”) and 5-8 Democratic-leaning citizens (“Blues”) gather together for a half-day or full-day of structured conversations. Independents are also welcome to attend. We only ask that for the purposes of the workshop they identify as leaning either Red or Blue, or attend as observers.
There are two types of Red/Blue workshops: 3-hour workshops that cover two exercises, and 6-hour plus lunch workshops that cover all four exercises. We recommend that people attend the 6-hour version if possible.
Two moderators, trained by Better Angels, lead the workshop, ensuring that ground rules are followed and that everyone is treated respectfully.

Practice conversation skills in pairs with someone of your same political persuasion. Registration required. Presented by the Better Angels Alliance of Eagan.

Governor’s Workforce Cabinet to hold Statewide Listening Tour
Staff from the Governor’s Workforce Cabinet will host a series of listening tour meetings across the State of Indiana in an effort to deliver information regarding the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) 2020 State Strategic Plan. The listening tour will include an overview of the Governor’s Workforce Cabinet, the planning surrounding the development of the state strategic plan, and allow participants to engage in the process. Time will be allotted to discuss barriers Hoosiers are facing, as well as to hear a variety of perspectives from attendees.

At this point, we need your help in choosing a topic. You'll find six different topics at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc98QitBr0vc0eDn8fpaJFStwZ6Z6WbXz_c05R3WwVGKzg6vg/viewform?usp=sf_link.
For each of the six topics or--as we say when debating--resolutions, you'll be asked to rate how much you care about it, whether you support or oppose it, and whether you'd be willing to speak about it at the debate.
Your answers to this poll will help us choose a resolution that evokes passion, and is likely to split the group with 50% in favor, and 50% opposed. If everyone agrees, it isn’t much of a debate!
