Voting & Midterm Elections (Virtual)

Nothing epitomizes American democracy like its elections. A citizen’s ability to vote is considered the cornerstone of democracy. The November 6th midterm elections present a historic opportunity for a shift in Congressional leadership and the country’s political spectrum. Increasing political polarization in recent years is thought to be driving this year’s political cycle. What does that mean for local, state and national landscapes? Will Americans vote for dynamic changes like we saw in 2010? Or will voters maintain the status quo in offices at local, state and national levels?

Join the Junior State of America on Thursday, October 11 at 8 p.m. EDT for a National Town Hall on the upcoming midterm elections and the institution of voting itself. Come to listen or to share your views.
